Customised learning path for ABB employees

For ABB, we offer a complete training pathway from Bronze to Gold, guiding participants through the full Tripod Beta accreditation process. However, it is also possible to enrol in individual levels separately.
This flexible approach allows you to decide your own pace—you can complete one level and choose when to proceed to the next, based on your schedule and professional needs.

The training

The Tripod Beta accreditation process consists of three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each level represents a deeper understanding and competency in applying the methodology.

What is Tripod Beta?

Bronze

Tripod Beta is a structured methodology designed to investigate and analyse incidents by identifying human and organisational factors that contribute to failures. Based on the Swiss Cheese Model and Human Behaviour theory, it is widely used in high-risk industries to enhance safety and reliability.

Bronze Tripod Beta Practitioner

This is the entry-level certification, focusing on acquiring a theoretical understanding of the Tripod Beta methodology and terminology. After completing this level, you will be able to interpret Tripod diagrams and reports and contribute as a team member to incident investigations.
